Good evening, Rabble Rousers.
Many of you have already heard, but for those who have not: We did not earn enough votes to achieve victory in this week’s election. The full election results are below.
This is an unfortunate turn of events, but the Union will continue hopefully stronger than before, with the increased engagement we’ve seen in the affairs of our Local.
As for the former candidates of the Rabble Rousers, we haven’t lost sight of our mission to improve our Union. Going forward, we will continue to do what is in our power as organizers to unify our Local and bring about the change we wish to see.
As a part of this long-term mission, we will continue our “Meet the Rabble Rousers” series of Zoom meetings- and you’re invited! Our next meeting will be on Thursday, April 9th at 6pm. Reply to this email for the link.
